This kit was created in support of the Stop the Bleed National Awareness Campaign from Homeland Security.   

The Stop the Bleed campaign is intended to cultivate grassroots efforts that encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped, and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.

A victim who is bleeding from an artery can die in as little as 3 minutes. Hemorrhaging is the 2nd leading cause of death for patients injured in the pre-hospital environment, accounting for 30-40% of mortality.

Be prepared with the tools you need to save a life. This individual kit provides essentials required in an emergency to control bleeding, including a CAT style tourniquet.
